Vibhor Sogani is an Indian artist and designer, known for his large-scale public art installations that explore the interplay of light, space, and nature. His work aims to transform urban environments, inviting viewers to connect with their surroundings in dynamic and meaningful ways.
By exploring themes of growth and cultural heritage, he crafts narratives through light and steel sculptures. Born in Jaipur, he has been living and working in New Delhi for the past 25 years. He has pursued formal education in Industrial Design at the National Institute of Design, India.
Over the years, Vibhor’s work has earned recognition for his site-specific art pieces that resonate with both local communities in India and global audiences abroad. One of his most significant public art installations is "Sprouts", spread over 6 acres of greens, located near the AIIMS flyover in New Delhi, India.
His works have been exhibited in various art and design shows across the globe like Netherlands, Australia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, South Africa, Germany, Denmark etc.
Vibhor is a recipient of many notable awards and honors and has served as a juror for several prestigious events. He was awarded ‘Indian Art Icon of the Year 2014’ in Singapore. He ’s also been invited as a key speaker and panelist at prominent institutes and conferences. Vibhor was nominated by the Government of India as a member of the governing body of the Indian Design Council.
